Say hello again

Been a while since I’ve been around, I know! Let’s see…since my last post, I’ve celebrated my 41st (!) birthday, got sidetracked by a rather distracting preoccupation involving somebody 1800 miles away, and managed to gain four kilos throughout that entire period. All those, in between thrice a week HD sessions, eternally picking up my apartment, working full-time, and, of course, spending all the rest of my free time with fam and friends. It hadn’t been the best of times I havta say, but here I am emerging from it, ever hopeful that 2017 will be a time when, as I’d always say, things would even out.

In the last few weeks too I’ve been chewing on making changes on my webpages and—finally!—I was able to find sit-down time to make a huge overhaul.

If you’re new here, you can check out some of my older blog posts, which have been around as far back as 2007.  Don’t worry, there’s just a few dozen of them. I know, I know, I’m not a prolific writer BUT I am a big fan of words. Most of my posts were journal entries of sorts; I’ve written about dreams, inspirations, life lessons, family, memories, poetry. All my postshave been updated with a thumbnail of some of my favorite photos, personal snapshots of my day-to-day life: my home base as well places from around and outside the metro, little gifts from my nearest/dearest, artwork I’ve created, just mostly eye candy. I haven’t traveled far and wide but I know I’ve some purrty interesting pictures that you might also enjoy.

I thought too, that maybe it’s time to shake things up a bit, y’know? So, as a to-do for the new year, I’ve decided maybe I’d also feature fancy little things that are close to my heart. The site will take on my personal approach on design, style, interiors, food, travel, music…sources of inspiration which would compel me to continue creating, drawing, writing, feeling alive.

My drawings take up a huge chunk of the site’s content too, broken down into these five categories: published, digital, ink, paint, and pencil. Some of my favorite pieces I’ve also placed in the spruced up Aboutsection. If you like what you see, send me a note—would love love love to hear from you! Better yet, follow my site so that you’ll receive via email a ‘hey there!’ every time I add something new. (The ‘follow’ button appears in the footer, below).

Down the line, I’m also considering to sell some of my art pieces…this has been on my mind for years now and definitely something for me to look forward to! And, if you’re interested in the same things as I am, hit me up. Maybe you and I can do something together, y’know?
