Love to have a love I do not deserve
It wakes me up in the middle of the night, eyes bright, my very own satellite
It perks up mornings with homemade buntings, and wispy whispers of a ‘happy sweet day darling’
And ends the day with munchies of li’l stories, sappy cheese, life’ll be made of these
Oh yes it flips a switch, causing the sweetest of twitches, a heart lurch, a surge
It pauses midsentence to tease, if only to please the beast, this monster, so quick to appease her
It nudges awake, with a wry smile, a long sigh, closed eyes, a hot kiss that lingers til the next pitstop, on this joyride, of a weekend, of a lifetime, and loops back right where it began
Yes, would love to have a love I do not deserve
Because I’ve been there, gave that, over and over, to Venus and back, so please just lemme know the feels
